Some truly amazing people have entered my life and what’s better than finding friends who help you better your life? Sharing those friends and their talents with everyone you know! 🙂
Ashlee has been practicing yoga for over 16 years. Her love and inquiry for the practice led her to enroll in teacher training in 2015. Ashlee completed her first 200 RYT in April 2015 at The Asheville Yoga Center followed closely with another 200 RYT in August of 2015 through AM Yoga. She completed Veterans and PTSD training through the Veterans Yoga Project in 2018. Ashlee has been teaching yoga in the Grand Rapids area for over 4 years, is a registered E-RYT having taught over 1000 classes, and has experience teaching a variety of styles and ability levels. Ashlee likes to blend her knowledge of vinyasa, alignment, and personal development into creating classes that are intentional, accessible, and fun loving.
Amanda Armstrong has lead health and wellness programs for a wide range of ages and abilities for nearly 12 years. She discovered yoga 16 years ago and has developed a personal home and studio practice, as well as embraced teaching to all populations in mixed level and restorative classes. She’s even brought her love for yoga to a local beach in Rockford and onto the water via stand up paddle board. She has continued her education in many areas of wellness such as achieving her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from WMU, certified in Balanced Bodies Pilates, and Mindfulness Meditation practices.
Every day Amanda looks forward to creating yummy plant forward meals for her family. She especially loves the chance to show children how easy and fun cooking can be. Amanda has a passion to serve the community by developing after school cooking classes filled with conversation, laughter, skills and nutritious meals. Stay tuned for more information and classes offered.
